SUMMARY PAPER
Mental health needs can have a significant impact on outcomes for people seeking physiotherapy for musculoskeletal pain. However, many physiotherapists find it challenging to integrate mental health assessment into care and use it to inform treatment decisions. This master class session will describe innovative and efficient ways to assess mental health needs, discuss best practices for talking with patients about mental health assessment, and outline how to use these assessments in treatment decision-making.
