Orofacial pain encompasses a broad spectrum of painful conditions affecting the regions of the mouth and face, ranging from musculoskeletal and dental pain to neuropathic discomfort. This lecture aims to elucidate the various conditions encapsulated within the orofacial pain spectrum, elucidating their diverse clinical presentations. Additionally, the discussion will delve into the diagnostic aspects, emphasizing the significance of adhering to the International Classification for Orofacial Pain (ICOP). Attendees will gain insights into identifying and categorizing these conditions, fostering a more comprehensive understanding of orofacial pain for effective clinical management.
